An important support service is reaching out to more people. After ten years in Stavanger, the Tillitsperson (Trust Person) initiative is expanding to Sola, offering help to individuals facing addiction and mental health challenges.
For many, navigating meetings with NAV, the healthcare system, or child welfare services can feel overwhelming – especially during difficult times. The Trust Person initiative provides support through volunteers who guide and advocate for those in need.
The program consists of twelve volunteers, led by project manager Tonje. From now on, a Trust Person will be available at ‘møteplassen’ (the community hub) in Sola every Tuesday, ready to offer guidance and support.
The initiative is run by The Church City Mission.
