TD Veen is owned by two generations of the Veen family in Stavanger. The company is driven by the goal of increased value creation with less use of resources, in order to leave a better world to the next generation.
We learn from one another and are responsive to new knowledge that will contribute to sustainable societal development. Our strategy is based, among other things, on the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the insight that exists about our planet’s tolerance limits, acting as a driving force when it comes to climate and biodiversity, with environmental considerations as an important guideline. We also closely monitor new research on this topic, particularly where this relates to our investment areas: circularity, food, health and technology. Read more under our investment philosophy.
Our portfolio consists largely of Norwegian companies, but in recent years we have also invested in companies based in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Canada and the US.
TD Veen is located at Eiganesveien 95 in Stavanger, formerly known to many as the Red Cross building. After move-in in 2012, the building was renovated and returned to its original appearance as of the year of its construction, 1917. The adjacent building houses Samfunnssentralen – our major investment in social entrepreneurship. Here we collaborate with social entrepreneurs who are in the start-up phase with businesses or projects involved in the topics of children and young people, rehabilitation, pure food and the circular economy. TD Veen actively contributes guidance and expertise, in addition to contributing financially to the project. Read more about Samfunnssentralen
